 Orange Blossom Honey. Mesquite Honey: The flowers of the mesquite trees are prized by the Southwest honeybee who turns it's ambrosial nectar into a distinctive yet delicately sweet honey. Desert Blossom Honey: The location of the beehives in varying flowering fields influences the flavor and color of the honey. Mesquite Honey and Orange Blossom Honey are from hives placed in a bosque of mesquite trees or in s grove of orange trees. Desert Blossom Honey is gathered from hives placed in areas of the desert where bees gather nectar from a variety of wildflowers, desert trees and cactus blossoms.
